Single country code Gym Challenge booster box value

I got back into collecting about two and a half years ago. I bought a few sealed wotc boxes back at that time, and after doing some research I’ve come to learn the Gym challenge unlimited box i have is the single country code version. From the research I’ve gathered this version is the last version printed and the most likely to be where the corrected Blaine’s Charizard and Rocket’s MineField come from. I have a few questions.

Has this theory been validated? I’ve seen some stuff on here that looks really promising but I’m still curious for some feedback.

What would you guys estimate the value on this box would run? I can imagine it’s gotta be higher because it’s rarer but how much rarer than a typical unlimited box is it? I’m not super into errors or in this case “corrections”, but I’m definitely hoping for some more info. Thanks again ya’ll

I opened up one of these boxes live in IG in 2019 to prove this theory and pulled both the corrected Charizard and rockets minefield. Although it’s a sample size of 1, I’m very confident these boxes will contain the corrected card prints. However it’s never a 100% guarantee, I would consider this box to hold a slightly higher value. At the times I sold these boxes with simply just a theory, I was able to receive roughly 10%-15% premium on the box versus a normal unlimited box. I have received offers for my last box that I own which is also in mint condition at about the same premium % rate in comparison to the current market value of a regular unlimited booster box.

Thank you for the information! That’s kind of right in the realm of where I was guessing but I really had no idea. That’s awesome you opened one of these to validate this theory and you were indeed successful. Now I’m super curious. Any idea on the value of PSA 10 corrected Blaine’s Charizard and Rockets mineField? I told myself when I got my boxes I’d never open them but now I’m (very) mildly starting to consider potentially opening this box. It wouldn’t hurt to add more sources to this (now essentially proven) theory. Plus it would be a lot of fun and gym challenge is without a doubt one of my favorite sets. Hmmm
