Should I Sell To ColCache

Collectors Cache is offering me .07 per card for the below.
I’ve never sold bulk com/uncom before so not sure what to do. I’m not in need of the money necessarily but the space would be nice.

Are these fair prices?
Is there somewhere better?
I’d appreciate your thoughts.

All cards are pack fresh from the Unlimited Base Set

30,000 Uncommon and Common Pokes

5,000 Uncommon and Common Trainers

35000 base set commons/uncommons? We’re talking the original charmander/squirtle/bulbasaur base set, right? I personally wouldn’t sell them for that price, or for any price for that matter. I could never have too many base set cards

I’ll give you double if you wanna sell them a little bit at a time lol

If you sell them @$.35 a pop yourself on eBay minus shipping costs you’re not making any more than $.10. Realistically no one is going to pay more for them. I say you go for it. A quick 2.4k never hurt anybody. But that’s just me, they might inflate later on and you can get a little more then. But ehh they’re just C/U…

Just don’t sell them the starters? Is there a market for them as just regular unlimited cards?

Not really I got mine for $.35 ‘Gem Mint’

Would they still give you .07 if you had a little less than 35000 cards? I would seriously like to buy some off you before you sell them all. I would offer you more for the whole lot if I had the money, but unfortunately I can’t afford that right now (especially with evolutions/20th anniversary set coming out) :stuck_out_tongue:

i wonder what professor-oak.com would give hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmssssssssss.

That is probably the best price you can get without selling them yourself on eBay.

However, I would charge a premium for mint Base set cards. Probably $0.25/card or so.

Troll and toad only pays $0.06 for nm/mint c/u cards. I didn’t realize CC pays that much. I get more than that selling bulk lots by the 1k or 3k or 5k for the newer XY sets on eBay but not by a whole lot. Usually 0.08 or so which doesn’t seem like much but is 30%+ more than selling to T&T which makes a difference and I sell slowly as I get them. Never build up more than 10k or so bulk. 7 cents isn’t bad at all but surely you could do better than that with some time and the right eBay listing. I would be willing to take 5k or so off your hands at that price and I’ll pay shipping and cover PP fees just can’t quite handle all that much of 35k that is a whole helluva lot of cards. I would imagine double that after fees wouldn’t be unreasonable to get, its just whether its worth the time to you or not.

thats a crap price, i get 23 us cents per base card on ebay and theyre played

Minus shipping and eBay/PayPal costs?

If you don’t need the money than just burn them all so less people can have the cards and the price of your sets will eventually go up. Simple economics mang, I thought you were more cutthroat when it came to matters like this.

Minus 12ish percent for fees, they pay shipping, but taking into account that i can get up to 30 us cents sometimes, 23 us cents would be about right overall

Listen to this man, he is a fuckin’ genius.

Gary only does that on really rare cards.

contact @buckna he might be interested garinson

I wish i had the money to buy these instead, this would probably complete all the common/uncommons i dont have since i am to busy buying full art and promos.

Personally i would go with sell them if you don’t want/need them 2.4k can get you a whole lot of new cards.

Extremely low. If you wanted to sort through them all I’d gladly pay a little more for all monster cards.

If you have the time and will, your absolute best bet would be to sort them all and make complete common and uncommon sets and sell them this way - you’d make significantly more but that’s also a lot of time and effort.

Well, I sold them all to a friend and long time ebayer instead. They’re willing to do the work and will turn a nice profit. They also bought my 1500 17-22 rares.
I needed the room cause this was a huge lot.

Thanks all for your input.
