Dude. Do you even realize how idiotic you look to EVERY single person who’s reading this? You’re a respected member here but this silliness your displaying is chipping away at that respectfulness. It’s what we normally get from 0 rated trolls here.
Now, knock it off;)
Just so everyone is aware, I typically charge clients around $340 an hour for this type of information at our clinic. However, due to the capacity of this forum and the love I have for E4, the following information is free.
One,
it is not up to federal law to decide whether or not something of personal use if counterfeit. In fact, federal law (US) only regulates counterfeit items in regards to coin or other types of monetary currency acknowledged by the US.
Two,
Therefore, something such as a replicated piece of cardboard, state law will preempt any federal law, unless the federal government has some sort of concern with it… which it wont. So, READ YOUR STATE LAW before commenting.
Three,
Unless someone actually has suffered from this scam, which eventually someone will, then, they have what is called “standing”. Once someone has standing, they can bring a case to their respective circuit/small claims court (most law firms and attorneys will not give you a second breath for something like this).
Four,
Here is the actual US code for the abovementioned penalties of said information.
In conclusion, yes, this is considered a counterfeit item in every possible respective. Is the state that the culprit is counterfeiting in going to actually pursue this person? Probably not, until he gets larger. Can we put him on BLAST all over the internet? hellllll yeahhhh we can.
Ahhhh. IP is a very complex subject. One of my best friends actually works as an IP attorney, but he won’t make any comments on a Pokémon forum unless he’s retained…

Sir, I apologize if I look idiotic to you. I’m simply asking people who are accusing someone of violating the law to explain what they mean. Yet so far, those people have either attempted to be insulting or not said anything more to explain their accusations.
I have no idea what you’re talking about but I do know business/money. TPCI could certainly have some legal standing in this matter. And if you think it’s too small for them to care about well, you don’t know them very well. I have personal experience in dealing with their lawyers.
But who cares about all that? What I want to know is are they really paying law students 340.00 an hour?
Wow, this thread is still going? Hard to argue what this guy is doing is not bad for the hobby, misleading and obvious what someone with little morals would do if they bought these packs. He states in one of his post “for display or any other purpose” He knows these will likely be used to scam someone but doesn’t care whatsoever. Honestly, it’s just sad.
Do I think you deserve the ban, no. Not all your post have been shit, but at this point everyone should just remember the username and know this member trolls everynow and then.
So it’s “trolling” to ask someone to explain his accusation that someone else is violating the law?
Not sure what country you’re from, but in the greatest country on Earth, America, we don’t accuse people of legal violations without having the facts or the fortitude to back up the accusations.
