Repeating Error - Prerelease Misty's Seadra Black Ink Dot

I figured I would make a post since I couldn’t find any info in the forum or elsewhere online, if this has been pointed out already please let me know! I was piecing out a few of my binders for scans and I realized I had two copies of an error I purchased back in 2020-21. At the time I remember someone said they were trying to get CGC to recognize this but I’m not sure what the outcome was. I know of at least 7 copies- 2 that I own, 1 that I sold, and 4 others that I managed to get screenshots of in different groups and online listings. I’m sure there are more that have just been overlooked, I’ve scrolled eBay and haven’t seen any for sale but I haven’t checked in a while.

I’m not as knowledgable on WOTC errors so I’d be interested to hear thoughts from the community, I bought these because they seemed cool and they’ve been sitting in my binder since. The dot is the same size/shape/placement on every card. Photos of my pair below, unfortunately I couldn’t find images of the copy I sold since the chat with the buyer was archived:

Here’s another copy from someone else. It seems like an uncommon error but not rare.

Oh nice, thank you! I figured it would be good to have a thread in case anyone is ever looking for info on this, reading the other WOTC error posts helped me to find/recognize the repeating blue dot (bat signal I think?) ponyta for my binder : )
