Hello all, I’m thinking about a frame with UV protection to display some of my PSA graded cards and was looking for recommendations as last thing I want is damage to the cards over time while being displayed! Anyone have any good experiences to share?
Have heard good things about these:
But please keep in mind I have not owned these personally so cannot give my experience.
PSA sells some pretty nice ones but they’re quite a bit more expensive. I want to pick one up at some point. I do have a cheap one I got off Amazon some time back: www.amazon.com/Baseball-Collectibles-Antifade-Protection-Basketball/dp/B08R7TK48H
It’s pretty decent all though the build quality is pretty average. Not bad, not amazing. It has an acrylic glass front with a UV coating/shield on the inside of the frame/glass.
For a bit more money, I would also check these ones out. I’m planning to pick up a 16 slot one for my Jungle set at some point:

For just a single card display, I’m a big fan of the ‘Crystal Coat’ displays on eBay from this UK seller… very nice IMO:

Regardless of the UV protection I still like to keep things in a concealed/darker location if possible to avoid as much indirect UV light as possible. I just don’t know how good some of this modern day UV shielded acrylic glass really is long-term. I’m still cautious and avoid displaying under intense lighting if possible just to be safe. I do hope these displays help, but I’m not 100% certain either even with the marketing behind it all.
Thanks a lot for the great info!!
