The direct comparison really shows how superior the regular and alternate arts are compared to the CGI “full arts” and rainbow rare prints (in my humble opinion).
Beautiful pages nontheless! Looking forward to seeing the rest of them!

Funny, while I also prefer the Alt arts, this layout actually makes me appreciate the rainbows more. Plus it’s neat you could have every different print varient in the same deck

I think in those alternate arts there’s a lot more going on which makes them really personal, in full arts the pokemon are basically just posing which is cool but doesn’t bring a smile on your face like the other ones :blush:

Great modern collection! I especially love the pages on the tag team cards. Are you collecting all tag teams or only the ones you like? Can’t see it from the pictures but I think you should get ADP and Lati@s, those are some of my personal favorites.

I love the classic look of the vintage Pokemon, but the artwork on modern is so incredible. I’ve been considering trying to build a set of some of the modern stuff at some point, but can’t decide which one I like the best.

I love to collect every era of Pokemon. Gotta catch em all! For modern I’ve mainly been getting my favorite cards / just the ultra rares over entire sets; especially in English the sets are massive so you’d need a ton of binder storage.

And then it gets way worse when you want to collect PSA 10 slabs of the cards you want. I really like Gyarados, so I’ve been thinking about trying to collect all of his cards. Again, great collection!!!

That’s awesome! I have completed the 32 Japanese tag team cards [1 RR, 1SR, 1SR (alternate art), 1 HR] although the English one is progressing slowly. It’s nice to see them in their binder once in a while and I really love the alternate arts from S&M era.
