Question about Team Rocket and other WOTC pack weights

So today, I decided to weigh some of the WOTC booster packs I have had sitting in storage for a while. I ended up cracking open seven packs that clearly contained holos and pulled:

1st Edition Team Rocket Dark Dragonite
Neo Revelation Raikou
Neo Revelation Crobat
Fossil Raichu
Jungle Venomoth
Jungle Electrode
Base Set Clefairy

Mixed bag of a haul, but hey; who can complain after pulling a Dark Dragonite and a Raikou?

Anyway, I have five 1st Edition Team Rocket packs left, and most of them weigh between 21.10 and 21.20 grams. The one that contained the holo weighed 21.34. The packs mostly came from different sellers, so they definitely aren’t all from the same box.

My question is, is the range of 21.10 to 21.20 generally considered heavy for Rocket and other WOTC packs? Is it likely that those packs will contain holos? Or does it completely depend on what print run the packs came from?

@mjs61290, it’s pretty likely, yes. I’d open one of the heaviest and one of the lightest

After looking at this spreadsheet, it looks like it’s pretty split with Team Rocket packs weighing 21-21.2. Check out this thread for more info.
