I would take machamp as a passenger princess since it would probably hopefully have enough hands to handle the full backseat of screaming and carsick kids
As a kid it would have been something like Chinchou or Litwick so I could see the screen of my GBA (kids today won’t know the struggle). Maybe Charjabug to recharge the batteries.
