QotD: Which pokemon box art is the best?

In english Neo Discovery might be least popular set but its booster box artwork is real goldmine, so many great looking Pokemon hanging near Ruins of Alph.

I’m sure many people like viewing japanese E2-E5 artworks, I’ve always had soft spot for E3 Wind from the Sea.

Overall I feel artwork/themes peaked during japanese ADV/PCG, just seeing Golden Sky, Silvery Ocean boosters makes me a bit jealous.

Mirage Forest and Clash of the Blue Sky are other boxes I truly appreciate, at least I can enjoy both in person. Do you think Clash would’ve been even better if they managed to squeeze in Rayquaza just like in posters?

JP Jungle has really nice art

The packs are also really nice, one of my favourites.

JP always wins. I’m a huge fan of neo discovery too: love the ancient ruins and vines. They really nailed the vibe

I could never prefer a theme deck box to a booster box but I want credit for originality.

The background showing my chimney is very nice on the theme decks. I could see it as being on par with the regular box

This is my personal all time favorite box art.

I think booster box art ist where Japanese really outshines the Western variants. Especially during Gens 2 to 4, there were so many great booster box designs. My favorite ones are:

I also want to include my favorite modern one, which actually is a very recent one, namely Paradise Dragona:

Not sure if it’s the best of all booster box artworks, but I really like the Japanese Sky Legends booster box:

As for two booster packs I haven’t opened when I received them due to their artworks:

I’m usually not really a fan of CGI artworks, but these are both pretty solid.
