“It is born asleep, and it dies asleep. All its movements are apparently no more than the results of it tossing and turning in its dreams.”

Supposedly Snorlax eats 89% of its body weight each day. To maintain body weight, assuming ~10% is evaporated from sweat/drool daily, Snorlax would have to urinate and defecate 810 lbs each day. Assuming Snorlax is mostly eating Pokemon fruits, that would be ~650 lbs of urine and ~160 lbs of fecal matter each day. These substances would possibly pass during sleep, as it only consumes food when awake.

Can you imagine the smell?

This gluttonous Pokémon eats constantly, apart from when it’s asleep. It devours nearly 900 pounds of food per day.

Im surprised they havent gone with the “Burn fat for instant strength and be left skinny” trope for a snorlax evolutions.

I dont think waste processing works the same way you are thinking if it has an extremely thorough nutrient uptake process. It may not even produce that much excrement if its all converted efficiently.

“Recent research has revealed the presence of dragon DNA in this species of Pokémon”
