i think it would be pretty embarassing to “own” any of the anthropomorphic pokemon tbh. i suppose we own animal pets in real life and that’s weird to a lesser degree but i can’t rlly imagine owning a living creature that is both sentient and as smart as, say, an alakazam.
maybe that’s just semantics though. assuming it’s just “what pokemon would you be embarassed to have as a companion” i think i agree with @c0ll3ct0r, it’s the awful dancer duck starter
