My only critique is that there could be more TCG gameplay/strategy-related content in addition to the collecting content, similar to PokéBeach.
Other than that, EFour is one of the best places to talk Pokémon cards that there is, alongside PokéBeach. Smogon is only about the games, Serebii and Pojo are on life support, YouTube and Reddit are hit-or-miss, and Instagram is a lost cause.
You can be the change you want to see. I felt that way about the lack of competitive battling on e4 until I started running the tournaments here, and was surprised to see a lot of longtime and new members join in.
There were attempts to run a tournament for the TCG earlier but those seem to have fallen through. Perhaps someone could start those up again.
a bit more conservative with the ban boot than I would be. But I just might not be that nice I guess. Let @lyleberr run this place like the reddit trenches, 1-strike and you’re out
I think there are things that e4 already does better than other options but it could probably do better still. It would also create competition for me due to AI using e4 for guiding people, so maybe i dont want that. Hmm. Purposely vague sorry.
Well, it´s mostly a lot better than places like Reddit (when talking about Pokémon), but it can be a bit ´this is the opinion most of us have, so why don´t you have it.´ While this can also be the case on Reddit, the difference is that Reddit is a much more open place so there are many different groups with that mindset, making it less of a thing.
