The word has evolved into something of no immediate monetary value

For me it’s any card I won’t keep in a binder or graded

Non-holos.

Everything that’s guaranteed in a pack, so commons, uncommons, rares, reverses and for the Scarlet & Violet era also holos.

For me its duplicates that I wont use. It doesnt mean they are useless, but better to call them bulk so I KNOW what I have.

I love the idea of trading $3 cards for vintage 1st edition commons and uncommons at card stores. It’s like a portal back to 2000s Books-A-Million on Pokemon Saturdays, except I get to trade all this modern bulk.
