Parasite type. Takes on traits from the pokemon it is against and weakens them as battles get longer.

Machine Type.

There are two separate design philosophies for Steel types, where they are either made of steel/have Steel components or are based on Machines with moving parts.

I don’t have specific weaknesses or strengths to come up with for it but an off the top of my head list for Steel types that would become Machine.

Revaroom
Klinklang
Celesteela
Magnezone
Tinktaton(the hammer is a machine)
Statataka

I think it would fit if they ever so another future focused Pokedex.

I would create a food type it would include magikarp.

That or I would bring fairy type back to the cards (WHY IS SYLVEON PSYCHIC??? ESPEON IS PSYCHIC NOT SYLVEON TPCi has to do something about it)

I feel like the obvious answer is “Light” type. It could be immune to Dark and vice versa, kinda how Normal and Ghost interact. I could also see it being super effective against Ghost, and maybe weak to Psychic. I guess also weak to Ground and super effective against Flying could make sense too. It could work for a lot of Grass types to have a secondary Light typing and seems to gel well. Maybe also have some fire types get it as a secondary typing as well. Specific Pokemon like Ampharos, Electrode, Sunflora, Blissey, etc could qualify as good Light types or have it as secondary typing.

Definitely light type. Necrozma should be a light pokemon even if it’s the only one.

Two I always thought were weird to be missing were Light and Wind. Sure we had Fairy and Flying as similar types, but Wind and Light always seemed better suited, mostly based on almost any other game. Wind could also be a separated Type in the TCG, to split off all Flying Pokémon from Normal.

As the light one is already mentioned i would first blame them for such a poor choice to pick me as a responsible one for this, but then i would probaly go with the route of flying type mostly feeling like normal type with wings and adding a bit similar sub types for fire, water and grass, be it called molten, diving and mossy types.
