Uhhhh…hmm. Isn’t there a bunch of conjecture as to where ghost Pokemon actually come from in the Pokemon world and why different species exist? Like some are the souls of children, some are ephemeral beings that are ghost-like but not necessarily ghosts, some already exist is some form but grow by consuming the souls of other Pokemon, etc. This feels like an ambiguous question.

Which non-U$D will it be?

Maybe youd prefer the question interpretted as “If you took a ghost pokemon and you remove it’s ghostly spiritness and have only a completely physical form, what would it look like? A new pokemon or a known pokemon? Would it even be alive?”

I’m curious if at this point the child’s spirit would count instead of their whole body

Does hatterene count if it’s not a ghost type? (Psychic fairy)

Not for nothing but gardevoir and hatterene share the same typing. COINCIDENCE?!
