My purchasing fail led me to this place.
I remember reading that a while ago. Did he ever end up paying the shipping amount to get the card back, or did he just let it go?

I can’t remember having any purchase failures, other than going ahead and buying cards that I thought I wouldn’t pull from a pack and in the end I did.
This happened only couple days ago: I had preordered Japanese Sword & Shield boxes and when the secret rares started to leak I knew straight away that I wanted the golden Zamazenta card. I thought pull rates for Sword & Shield would me similar like on Sun & Moon sets that you would get only one FA / Secret Rare per box so I had this thought that it would be very difficult for me to pull that Zamazenta from my box. So I bought the gold card and also the FA version of Zamazenta. So 2 Zamazentas.
Then on Thursday this week my Sword and Shield boxes arrived.
Guess what I pulled from my Shield box?
Zamazenta V FA and Zamazenta V gold card.
Yup.
But that gold card is so gorgeus I ain’t mad about having 2 of them soon 
(the singles I ordered haven’t arrived yet)

Nice job, man. Unfortunate situation but at least it was eventually settled.
I scroll through eBay so often that I go numb and make some dumb purchases…
Bought a PSA 9 hyper rare sigilyph gx for $15 bc I thought I had read it was PSA 10. Wasn’t until I got it in the mail I realized my mistake lol
Another one, I was searching “prerelease staff charizard”, saw one a SM team up one for $40 and instantly bought it. Went and looked at the listing more closely the next day and it was just the regular holo, not even prerelease RIP
