PSA Vault withdrawal rates going up next month

Thank you for the heads up. Just shipped two items back that were in the vault for less than 90 days. Total only $2.00, they waived the $5 shipping fee until March 16, 2025.

I’m about to do the same myself lol

Do they allow you to withdraw to a pwcc vault address? Or does it need to be a home address?

Shouldn’t be an issue to ship to fanatics

Idk why I thought it was a rule you had to ship to a home address. Maybe I’ll try it

I’ve shipped to home and to PO and all they asked me to do to change the address was log in again to verify lol so don’t imagine it’s an issue to the vault but let us know

psa has gone wild with price increases

whats the problem? hundreds of millions of dollars per year not enough for them?
business has never been better and yet they showing ultimate greed

nat turner trying to get an 8 figure bonus at everyones expense?

Increasing prices is unfortunately a pretty common way of lowering the amount of people using your services, if you’re at a point where you are currently struggling to keep up with demand

Not to defend PSA specifically but they were losing money every time they shipped an item and tbh I thought they would have made the change much earlier. The 0.01% undercut of fanatics is funny though

TBH, even with the rate increase, it’s still cheaper to send a bunch of slabs to the vault first, then get it shipped back. States that have high sale tax, it adds up. $5.99 flat fee shipping up to 50 items is pretty cheap. Will continue to ship future auctions there first.

Side question, does PSA authentic the slabs shipped to them before it goes into your vault?

I knew the $1 withdraw+shipping was too good to keep around forever. I couldn’t believe they were shipping it international (:canada:) for that price. It had to of been a loss leader for them to incentivize the vault. Oh well, still probably one of the better deals you can get.

PSA Vault is pretty amazing. but they could improve in a few areas.

  1. Turnaround time is insanely slow.
  2. Theft is a concern, and it suggests that some bad (FedEX) employees are in the Delaware/New England area and know what the PSA Vault address means. Hoping this gets resolved soon.
  3. eBay integration is great, but you can’t add offers to BINs yet.
  4. Images are often left to PSA’s originating scans, and some of those are dogwater. Taking new scans would be preferable, like what Fanatics Collect does.

It’s worth noting that they cut some of their selling fees, so not all news is bad.

They got rid of the percentage charge? That’s nice

Indeed. They are now “revised, collector-friendly PSA Vault withdrawal fees.”
