PSA Returns And Prices?

I collect psa 9s because 10s are too much money, when one earns a 10 I sell it :open_mouth: oh my how awful of me :c

I don’t think anyone here thinks you are awful. Here are some things we, as members of the same forum, have noticed about your behaviour that we simply don’t understand or agree with:

  • You put very little effort into a thread asking the value of cards to which everyone is able to get the value for from sold listings.

  • You have zero issue with trying to sabbotage others sales because you were happy to release your items for below cost.

  • You make it seem like your driving force is money, not collecting.

Whilst there is absolutely nothing wrong with tye third point, when coupled with the other two it makes us skeptical of your intentions.

For the record, if you are able to grade some cards and flip them to supliment the cost of your collection, massive high five to you. I see absolutely nothing wrong with that.

I don’t see any sold listings for a psa 10 rayquaza gold star so I’d like to get a range in value as far as money goes since I’m currently seeking a 9 version of this gold star, I’m a mere few gold stars shy of a complete psa 9 set  as far as the Charizards only one is mine, the other 2 are from fellow friends and collectors alike  seems like many have their own opinions on my methods and motives, be it as it may, they’re totally entitled to it. Whether you choose to believe I’m a collector or scum reseller the conclusion you reach is based entirely on your own perception, although it seems many have chosen to believe the latter always feel free to check out my instagram page

He is just asking for prices. You guys need to chill. Not everyone is scum.

As we have stated mate. No one here thinks you are awful. We can only comment as we see it.

No one here is in this community to bash anyone else. We just are seeing things differently I guess.

#2 sticks out. On one hand, he tells others that their prices are too high because he sold the same item(s) for less. But then when you try buying from him, he says he sold the same card for more to someone else, so therefore he wants more than eBay prices for it…

And very true points. The act of reselling itself, or wanting to make a profit isn’t necessarily bad. Heck, most of us here will resell cards that we decide not to keep in our collections. @fourthstartcg mentioned he does it, @smpratte does it… Several other members here do it. The problem lies more so with resellers who only get into the hobby to make a quick buck and generally could care less about the cards themselves. Also, the way some of them act at times really makes them unlikeable.

The reason we get into these discussions with you is because every comment you make sounds sarcastic and snotty. Dont act like a child please. That isn’t what this forum is about.

And second, this comments makes little sense to me. 10s are more expensive, but grading a 10 yourself costs the same as if it grades a 9. So why not keep some 10s you grade yourself?

Also my phone effed up the quote.

When I sell the 10s I can buy 9s

Nobody implied he was Jeremy, my original point was more driving at asking the question on devaluation of cards as more people do grade solely for profit, being as the OP never answered my question I wasn’t going on if he was or he wasn’t and then simply voiced my opinion on doing it myself, OP actually used the term scum!

I find it hard to believe someone would willingly get rid of a 10 just to buy a 9 version of the same card.

But it’s entirely possible I’ve just never seen that yet.

Even if you find it hard to believe he hasn’t done anything wrong, or anything remotely close to it. Even if he was only in it for money, good luck to him! There’s nothing wrong with it, it benefits the hobby just as much as it hindets it and more to the point it’s not anyone elses business.

It doesn’t bode well that a new member gets hounded like this for no apparent reason.

Yeah I’d much rather collect all 9s rather than some 9s and some 10s I like consistency so I don’t like having different grades, just like all my psa cards have to have the new Holo security label, all have to have the heading ā€œ200? Pokemon gold starā€ and so on, really more personal preference than anything

^I find that excessive but understandable. I tend to have zero issue with having 9s and 10s.

Have you not seen him post? He has an attitude in every other post he makes. That’s also an issue. There is no need for blind defense of someone just because you like them personally.

I don’t know him at all except at a glance from Instagram, I just think there is no need to gang up on someone. A few have shown to have an attitude in this thread and he hasn’t been one of them, it’s playground stuff. What has or hasn’t happened in other threads is irrelevant to me. If you have a real issue with his posts maybe you should report them.

  1. There really is no need to gang up on people without knowing the whole story. Maybe I was doing that myself, and I apologize for that, but the point that I and others made about so called ā€˜resellers’ still stands.

  2. Nobody is hounding new members just because they are new members.

  3. Being passive-aggressive and having an ā€˜attitude,’ isn’t really a reason to report a post. If someone has an issue with a post, they should most definitely post and explain why they have an issue with it. Of course if it’s something serious report it and the admins will take care of it.
