PSA Re sealed?? Help

Hi all

Got a question about a PSA Gem mint card I brought of ebay. I noticed a scratch mark on the back of the card in the center of the pokeball. It led me to question if the card was tampered with,opened and the card replaced with a lower quality card.

Would PSA give a card a gem mint 10 to a card with such a noticeable mark?

Also do these Marks on top of the psa case look suspicious?

Thanks :blush:

Those marks on the case are normal. That’s super duper common on cases.

As far as the card, being it’s on the back I think that was probably overlooked. I couldn’t find it til the last picture that was a super close up. I dont know if psa uses magnification or not, but I would guess that if that was just looked at with the naked eye it very well could have just been not seen by the grader. I think they spend alot more time on the fronts of cards then the backs, especially with holos.

It’s real and doesn’t look tampered with. Just something PSA missed.

Not only that, but PSA card swapping is not really a thing.

:joy: loving the imagine haha
Spotted it with my naked eye, I probably was just expecting a gem mint to be flawless.

Uhm I first thought the corners would be your main concern tbh, just looking at the back I would’ve never expected that to be a 10. I guess that just means I wouldn’t worry about the smudge at all ^^

@d3stroyed,

No. No 10s are flawless. Probably nothing man made is flawless. That looks like a solid 10 for sure.

Oh yes the corner also haha
Maybe the grader had a lot to drink the night before. Cheers

Thanks Gary, if you say it’s a 10 then I’m 100% going of that. The king as spoken :grin:

Cheers
