Rip the ~100 cards I just sent them. Not even a drop in the bucket comparatively, but oh well. I probably still would have sent them off regardless of seeing this or not. Time to downgrade my binder collection, I realized pretty quickly that 5/6s look just as good as 9/10s in a binder and they’re 1/4 the price.
We’re a drop in the ocean, they likely wouldn’t notice the effect of E4ers boycotting them lol!

Still waiting on an order since aug of 2019 and another one back in feb of 2020. Will be my last 2 subs with them. Will just be buying what i want at this point and selling my raws or using bgs or maybe cgc at some point (still think they got a lot to work out tho)
Sorry, I just want to comment on this since I find color theory quite interesting. As far as I know, complementary colors is not necessarily the same as “looks good together”. According to Wikipedia, complementary colors create the strongest contrast when placed next to each other. This means one can be used to make the other stand out.
From another webpage: “Complementary colors are tricky to use in large doses, but work well when you want something to stand out.”
So I think that’s why many people find the label distracting with fire type cards

Wish i knew. Was received and have had no update on it since. Prob lost in the warehouse some place. Who knows. I stopped trying to ask for updates on it at this point. Basicly cards held hostage

Seriously August from last year? I find that hard to believe they even have the cards if this is true.
My thoughts too. My understanding is that the majority of their backlog is modern sports?

Yes. PSA specifically changed their policy with regards to economy recently because of ultra-modern sports cards. As great as Pokemon is we are barely anything compared to the sports cards that they get in. Think about it this way. About a year ago, PSA posted on Instagram about them certifying their one millionth Pokemon card. In the same time, PSA was well into 40 million cards graded. Even if every sequential number from the 8 Honus Wagner until that point was not used, it should be clear that Pokemon isn’t even close to a majority of what they’re getting in. Sure, Pokemon is bigger than ever right now. But sports continues to be bigger than Pokemon.
Why would i lie? What do i have gain from giving that information on a forum? He asked and i told him. If they can’t give me any answers on the phone or thru countless emails when do i just file a claim? Cuz seriously asking never had this issue with psa before. So would not know where to even begin. And with all the spiked prices how do i even get declared value as of right now vs when i sent them in last year?

What is the wait time like at BGS? I have a submission ready and if not PSA, I’d prefer BGS of CGC. However I have never sent anything to them so have no ideas if they are as backlogged as PSA and would the cards take the same amount of time to get back to me

I mean they are just negligently holding onto some extremely value assets of yours without a second thought. Cuz getting mad or frusted over it at this point is pointless to my mental health i guess? If you want details its 3 german base set 1st ed packs to be graded. Was sent to ludkins in aug. They have called and sent emails and got no answers in return except its “processing”. Wish i could tell you more. It’s 100% out of my hands at this time. Not like i can just waltz on down to psa and demand my packs back lol. I’m 6 states over.
Nothing i planed to sell anyways. Only reason i am being so calm about it with them and ludkins. Just want my 3 german 1st ed packs at some point for my pc display.
