I don’t know much about the gold star. I know that shining Mewtwo is on my list of cards to get, so I’d get that one but that’s just me though

I’d go with the Shining Mewtwo, if for no other reason than the collector pool being a bit deeper for WOTC . . . I would expect it to appreciate more over time. Both are solid cards though, can’t really go wrong either way.
