Possibility On How PSA Could Be Damaging Cards?

Are you ever going to forget about it. It’s not really our business to judge, maybe pm him about it instead. I learnt that the hard way the other day when I went nuts at gary. SHould have PM’d him, and I would have known the truth and it could be solved in 5 seconds, but I let my emotions get in the way so I understand your frustration and though you may hate him for that, you shouldnt focus on that and use it against him publicly all the time. I didnt just let my emotions get in the way though, my brain all mest up atm lol. Assumption is the ultimate fuck up. @blastoiserules1 is a good dude, and he helps out alot of people in the pokemon community. If I can’t change your mind about the guy, then fine I won’t bring it up again… Just know that it is hard for me to be inbetween this everytime it comes up. That being said, for me I would like to add that in all my time submitting through @blastoiserules1 , I have never ever had 1 single damaged card. I think 100 Card orders are the best submission wise, I did not know they didnt use gloves, but I’m sure that wouldnt take off the grade anyway because Silversnorlax told me that PSA does not Grade or loook for Fingerprints. When I first submitted he told me not to worry about gloves when handling my cards, But i do it anyway and am very OCD about it lol. I am a little torn also @garyis2000 and I Respect everyones opinion, and Hope everyone understands where I’m coming from.

But that could be the reason why most cards have damages like that.

I find it so funny how PSA posted the photo and took it down right away because everyone had the same question is that why my card has those marks.

HAHAHAHAA they just threw themselves under a bus

Didn’t ask you but thanks for the Input

I have no idea where you’re coming from, your comment is all over the place.

I’m not going to get into this with you, as we’ve all had the Pack Weighing talk.

My view point won’t change, his won’t either. End of discussion.

Agree let’s end these off-topic talk and back to PSA posting how they damage a few cards.

No more off topic comments please.

I am grateful that people provide services to other members but personally I would be somewhat hesitant sending him cards to grade knowing that he has no problem performing those practices on a wide scale in his own workplace. It’s good to hear you’ve had good experiences grading with him though. I don’t think he’s a bad guy but I can see how it rubs people the wrong way when he complains about how hard some cards can be to pull when he improves his odds greatly in the first place.

My point exactly, I was trying to say exactly what you said the nicest way possible to swoelpoke but it didnt come out right, I guess this articulates my stance right now much clearerness:

This is another good point. If you lack morals in one situation it makes it hard to trust you under any circumstances.

Not on Topic.

Don’t want you to get in trouble now do we?

Back on topic. Gary. Do PSA use a ruler for every card or only if they think the centreing is a close call?

And is the ruler somekind of special substance that doesnt damage cards? I’m sure it wouldnt damage them, but I would not be confortable with sticking a metal ruler across a 1st edition shadowless base set Holo area, and that photo was not the best choice to chuck up on the twitter page. A bit scary ladies and gents, Its hard to believe that in all my submissions they didnt damage one card with that ruler… I didn’t know that is how they did the centering thing, perhaps they have some new people in training and thats the reason for alot of these complaints lately. But IM sure as time goes on and the noobies get more proer-sauce, these people in training you wont here shit all complaints about damage. I hope I dont jynx the shit out of myself, and my gold stars die in this round lol.

Well, they are human, so I imagine that damage is bound to happen every now and then. It doesn’t happen on every submission either, though the fact that this seems to be happening more frequently lately is a problem.

Here they are checking my card

If there’s reason to suspect a problem through touch or visually, if a card is of high end value(like the Jordan), or if multiple or cracked miscuts have come down the line.

Honestly I don’t know exactly what it’s made out of but mine which looks the same is metal and it’s totally harmless.

Their ruler could have a cork or felt back.

Yeah I agree its probably got some felt thingy @omahanime

How long do they usually keep Card grader Employees at PSA. Have they had the same ones for years?
