So I have a blister from 2006 with 3 eeveelutions seemingly in mint condition and 2 ex packs. I am tempted to open the blister and grade the 3 eeveelutions and sell any of the heacy packs. Worst case theyre light and I just keep 2 mint light packs for my pack collection. The eeveelution holo pop 3 cards are super low pop and decently valuable. I think the holos can’t be pulled from pop 3 packs.

Holos are indeed not in the regular POP packs. If the math works for you I’d do it, especially if you’re just going to keep the light packs for collection purposes anyway.
Just be aware out of a lot of these blisters the cards can get damaged coming out of the packaging. So while they may look mint now, they might not be once they’re physically in your hand.

Yeah and I have a contact who is willing to buy a heavy pack if it happens to be heavy. The promos do look actually mint, no warping, good centering and no visible dents on the front. Ill have to be surgical removing it but Ill probably do it live on ig if anybody wants to see. All 3 eevees have less than 7 psa 10s and the go for upwards of 200 ea in 10. If they get 9s thats about 50 ea.
And yeah Im not gonna find box fresh dragon frontiers or legend maker in my day so this may be my onny shot

totally worth it they all look to be psa 10 quality that pop report will be 1 higher soon! I am hyped thats my first vintage opening in 14 years. Not sure about the packs though legend maker 17.2g and dragon frontiers 16.3g
Dragon frontiers is light for sure, not sure about legend maker but I think that’s light too

16.3? Jeez, that’s light lol. And 17.2g is almost definitely light for Legend Maker. Though I do have one that’s like 16.8g, so it probably has a shot at being heavy.

you should see the eeveelution cards! I think I might send them to cgc instead of psa they have a shot at gem mint all 10s (also I dont want ot wait till next year for psa )
That’s awesome. I was looking for a graded flareon and was surprised by their scarcity.
I’d definitely be in for a cgc/psa 8+ depending on the price.
Edit. Nvm the 8, just bought some raw for $2.50 each looking pack fresh. #backtoungraded lol
it all depends on how they were removed from the blister. I took 20 mins cutting them free but I think it paid off. Ill update this thread in 30ish days when I get them from cgc again
Yeah I know, most of the promo stuff was awfully packaged. I’m just saying I’m fine with some raw cards instead of a psa 8.

Thank you! Yeah as long as the eevees grade decently well, I basically end up with some factory fresh light packs for my collection. Only 90 packs left to go! Its getting tough to find some of these older packs in out of box condition even if I am willing to go light. Can’t afford to break boxes myself so the hunt has been a journey and Ive had to resort to methods like this to find some lol

2 prints of gen 3 packs, 1 where the light packs are low 16, one where the light packs are low 17. I had a power keepers pack that was 17.3 or 17.2 grams that was light
well that makes this all the more complected. Explains some things Ive seen though I guess.
I have 3 legend maker packs 16.8g, 16.98g, 17.12g so you think its 2 first print light packs and 1 second pack light? or 3 first print packs 1 heavy?
And dragon frontiers at 16.29g is pretty safe light right?
@modestmudkip, dragon frontiers is 100% light, but I think 2 of your legend maker packs are heavy. You definitely have at least 1 heavy (16.8) based on what I’ve seen. I’m not 100% sure bu5 I think 16.98 is heavy as well.
is there a ex series weight post on this forum? It would be nice to have a bunch of experts sharing what they know. Since weighing is just how it is now, I dont see why this info cant be shared?

Man, now I’m wishing I just cracked that blister myself 
. But I hope they come back 10s! Those things are tough to find in nice condition. Just taking them out of the blister presents the risk of making them PSA 7s or 8s lol.
