…well folks, the Pikachu PSA 10 is now a > $10,000 card!
According to the original discussion, there were c. 50 of each graded at PSA. That’s more like c. 250 on average now (709 Pikachu)…While the price rises will have flushed out a lot of copies for grading, I think it’s safe to say there are well over 1,000 copies of each as we suspected. Gradability remains a challenge though, with only just over 200 PSA10 Pikachus. I can’t see that increasing too much more.
Who doesn’t love an undiscovered release coming good…next up, PCL?!
Pokepark Blue Lugia and Rayquaza holos, both lower pops in PSA 10 (Lugia is under 100), both have better artworks imo. But is the Pikachu art exclusive to this set? Lugia artwork shows up Unseen Forces and Ray shows up in Emerald and that amazing reverse holo so many including me cherish.
Although there’s no way to verify it went through, this auction was pretty cool to see. Prices don’t seem that far off of what we’ve been seeing lately for the entire set.

Brand new here so hi everyone. I have always loved the PokePark cards, I collected them live as it were back in the day.
I am surprised at how much the Green and Blue files go for although the artwork on the files themselves is superb.
I also enjoy the art of the 13 park cards and still hold multiple copies of these. I think getting all these and collecting all of the Play? cards were my favourite two early completions back in the early/mid 2000s.

Forest file (including the pikachu) is all unique art. Blue file is all reprint artwork. Ride promos are all unique art.
