Never claimed to be the Pokepolice. I am just fed up with the grifters who are only in the hobby for the money and are willing to drag it through the mud to get there. I’d prefer they take their scamming back into crypto and leave Pokemon the hell alone. I respect that you have a higher tolerance for the nonsense grifting, I’m just capped out on it. I’d gladly circle back to this conversation when Ripit inevitably goes defunct and customers can’t pull out their funds—maybe there will be enough evidence at that point to admit Logan has always been ill-intentioned with his Pokemon endeavors

I’d like to reiterate one last time that this has nothing to do with the card selling for 16 mill. Good for Logan for 3xing his money—I personally don’t care about the dollar amount whatsoever. I can’t speak for everyone, but I’m concerned that the card was sold while people are still waiting for the reimbursement for their fractional shares.

ā€œWe were told that the funds had been redistributed, and I assumed that was the case,ā€ Paul told cllct. "When I put my card up for auction, it was news to me that people on the platform couldn’t withdraw their money.ā€

Dude was a cofounder and he claims to not know this information. He is either lying, or a complete moron. Either way, that is unacceptable in my book

I’m gonna second this. A couple years ago (before it became a thing) I actually had a lot of fun producing content and developing for a community driven meme coin. Then came iggy azalea, Andrew tate, trump coin and whatever else hype driven scams. It ruined everything. It’s done. No more organic community meme coins.

Unfortunately the masses will flock to follow this kind of crap, artificially inflate the prices, get burnt and then leave. But while they’re around they s*** all over the place and ruin things for the folks who aren’t just tourists.

@ddk how dark is the sky where you at lol

I can’t believe y’all are giving this the time of day.

I’m not your buddy, guy.

When someone DOES act in bad faith, or is unethical, especially when they are a public figure, is relevant to call out.

I don’t care about the card, I and many people here are pointing out bad behavior - all you need to do is watch the goldin video and that should give you the heebies.

Plus as a company, Goldin is playing with a hot potato.

For example, we fired a medical multi 7 $ figure client (3+ million followers online, household name) 3 days ago who we think has been using Ai generated images for their products ā€œresults".

All image checkers say their images are ai, as ai generated images have a digital fingerprint.

We don’t have 100% proof, but the law says I needed to take action and request certain internal things.

I decided to fire them to protect my company as it’s quite possible a scandal.

But that’s me. Reputation is everything. Goldin seems to be fine with the risk.

And hey, he took the video down for a reason lol.

It’s ok Festa, I’ll be your buddy. Bro just said he fired someone based on suspicion alone without gathering evidence/proof. Checks out with everything else he’s been saying.

You didn’t get the south park reference…You must be fun at parties.

Either you’re ignorant or you’re purposefully not reading what’s being written.

We fired a client who was most likely lying to their customers in a very complex medial industry. That’s a huge issue.

AI images leave a digital signature when they are made, so we are 98% certain that’s what they were doing.

Sure I didn’t see them do it, but it’s enough for me to protect my company and reputation.

But keep up whatever weird angle you’re taking with this.

My point - Logan Paul is ethically extremely questionable and Goldin is taking a risk by siding with him. But whatever, it’s his decision. I feel bad for the people who lost money with the multiple failed projects / scams under LP.

LEPERCON!? :folded_hands: spell check is free!!!

I didn’t even call you buddy, I called you brother, which I say to everybody. Now you’re just being standoffish for no reason. I’ve not attacked you, I’ve outlined points.

I have no clue about your industry, but it’s also completely different from the one being discussed.

I would err on the side that firing your client without even broaching the topic with them though would seem hot-headed and rash.

This is without a doubt the biggest waste of time thread that I’ve seen in all the years on this forum. Good luck to anyone who continues to bother :person_shrugging:

Leprechaun :four_leaf_clover: :rainbow:

Leper = suffering from leprosy

in french leper actually spells lĆØpre from latin lepra
we are not accustomed to the folkore of the leprechaun here, my only exposure to it is through south park
