Yes, you are correct any many people including myself didn’t know the Bessatsu Coro Coro Comic Special April 1996 even existed. Until recently I have the most complete Pokemon manga set in the world many people are unaware these ‘rarer’ books even exist brother. How did you know about the comic special if you don’t mind me asking? I have yet to make a thread about the set as not all are back in my possession. I may in the future have one of the Mods on here help me make the thread professionally. Since I’m not the best at sourcing information and citing properly / creating a good quality thread isn’t my forte.
That issue in particular has very little information besides Mandrake a Japanese website even YouTube has very little information. I’m not 100% sure even the first series predates TCG. Another side note the 4-Frame / 4-Koma 1st prints in particular 2 of the prints are extremely low printed as well prints 1-3 in my experience are the best to find in ‘Any Condition’ also dust covers can be swapped out to bump the grade Beckett is the only company that grades them currently.
That’s great! Well I knew about it as I collect manga, and I have a few issues of CoroCoro, and some accompaniments which feature first appearances of Pokemon characters outside the video name ~ But AMAZING AMAZING!
Yeah, I will definitely be making a thread on them soon but like I said may have to find someone to help find some more history / background first on a few of the books. I finally actually today was able to source a second copy of the 1st print 4-Koma DX which is the top chase if not the chase among 2 other chases in Vintage Pokemon Manga.
So now the project will if eveything goes accordingly with shipping / grading / other unforeseen events. I will have the only complete Beckett graded set and when CGC announces grading a complete CGC graded also sets with the chases and later prints like 3rd print or 7th 8th print etc. I think I will actually grade more CGC when they do officially announce there own manga grading.
