If xiao has a piece of a piece of a laserjet printed paper that’s in a slab that’s in a phantom display case, that also doesn’t mean it’s graded

Well that depends, is the piece of a piece of laserjet printed paper in a slab inside a phantom display case for sale? Because if it is, boy do I have some news for you…

Anyone win any to sell to xiao?

waaaaittt surely these cards haven’t had some strange market shenanigans going on from individuals with a vested interest? Surely not? My shivers are timbered

This one sold and is pending sale. Pikachu tax :frowning:

But holy moly…

There’s so many of them. These are in the weekly auctions on onlyalt

Rank ordering my favories: alpha proto > alpha play > beta play, alpha pres

What about y’all?

Honestly, the number of them in the wild hasn’t changed. I’ve been watching CGC’s population reports along with the auction houses.

Pikachu Cards:

  • Alpha Prototype - 6
  • Alpha Playtest - 6
  • Beta Playtest - 6
  • Delta Playtest - 0
  • Alpha Presentation - 5
  • Beta Presentation - 0

If new cards surface, then I’m interested. For now, the same original grouping of cards are still being sold, and I haven’t seen any indication that new cards have come to market.

How are these categorized their whole report looks wonky. there is no way there are only 6 alpha presentations and 3 beta presentations graded

I only see 3 alpha playtest pikachus on cgc’s website

For me

GB seadra>Something we probably haven’t heard about yet>Lizardon book>CoroCoro presentation(alpha/beta etc)>Alpha proto>Alpha playtest>gamma/delta>beta playtest

How I imagine the current situation - Negotiation’s for the remaining 5 Akabane sets are tense as auction prices stumble

CGC’s population report does not list cards with a grade of AU (authentic). I have been manually tracking every single card in a spreadsheet and keeping archival photos as well.

As proof, here’s one of the three AU grades I’ve documented. 1401039446008

The deltas on heritage went HIGH. Prototypes are back!

To be fair, the older folks who use Heritage probably don’t know what’s been happening on Alt, PWCC, etc. :older_adult:

Guess it’s just about putting them in front of the right audience

I love heritage :disappointed: Am I old

Heritage is an awful platform, but they get awesome consignments.

Seriously! Their website looks and feels like it’s from 2001 :joy:

Supposedly their website was made in 1996… I’m not sure that it’s had much work since then.

You guys are crazy, their website is fine lol Go look at other big auction houses like REA or Hakes if you wanna see real problems
