Good thing the boxes are made to order so we can get all the 500+ master ball revs. Oh wait, it’s one box per person? And if my maths is roughly correct, that’s around ~3500 boxes to have a good chance of getting them all at least once.

Okay yeah so the master all variants are going to be expensive…

Oof

Day 1 prices are always hot garbage. Wait two weeks. A lot of those prices will come down by 1/3rd or more.

I hope so

give it a week

I sweat zero bullets over day 1 pricing. I am seeing people ask $500 for a master ball reverse holo Eevee. No one will ever pay that, not even on day 1.

Following what beggles said, a lot changes over the next few days.

Wait six months and few people will be talking about the set. They’ll be too focused on the newest releases and the holiday season.

Prices for modern singles tend to be lowest 60-90 days out.

Morning time in Japan now. Boxes currently about 14,000-15,000 yen on yahoo and mecari. Will be interesting to see what happens as the day goes on.

I’m more worried about sourcing the Thai, Indonesian and Traditional Chinese master ball reverses, assuming Indonesian and Traditional Chinese get reverses. (I think so, I just haven’t confirmed they did for VSTAR Universe). And also Korean, assuming they decide to do the master ball reverses as well.

This price seems decent.

Curious to see where mew falls. It’s always tough to tell where things will settle.

A pull rate thread for modern sets would be nice so we could speculate on where prices may land for certain cards. I guess that’s on me since I don’t open packs, I only buy singles/ graded.

Definitely waiting for things to settle a bit. I’ve been watching the price of the Poliwhirl AR. Before I went to work this morning the price was $36, and now it’s down to $11. I feel like this is the opposite of English right now as I watched the price of the new Magikarp go from $20 before and on release day to $50 on day 2, then up up and away.

6 watchers…

8 watchers…

15 watchers?! Get a life, people! It’s DAY 1. UNO! :triumph:

I’m really happy this set is coming to the states. Will be really fun to open up and have a binder of

Also, seems like jap mercari is already flooded with master ball reverse holos, i feel like this might be potential time for international buyer purchasing through buyee scammed with regular reverse holos but i hope my purchase was legit, seems like an easy cheat to make tho. But i got grimer and muk for around 13$ total which might become lower soon but this was a price i was very comfortable paying for the cards and fomo

The master ball reverse holos might be cheaper than we initially thought. I don’t see many people going after the complete set since there is only 1 per box. So that leaves just species and artists collectors that will be a buyer for them.

I was quite sure the regular pokemon wouldn’t be too pricy, either that or box demand and prices would rise, wouldn’t have made sense that you are able to buy a box and sell a single whatever masterball to gain a big chunk of box price back
