Pokemon Art Subliminal messages?

I’ve been wondering this for some time now, but can someone please explain to me what is going on in this image (below Rattata’s feet)? It seriously looks like someone spilt a droplet of water on the original image and then it just went to print.

Also, does anyone think of Templeton from Charlotte’s Web when they see Rattata?

Okay, while we are at it… Can someone please explain how Misty’s Tears got banned but how the phallic Combuskken didn’t turn any heads at Nintendo? I hope I’m not being inappropriate for this thread but even the name Combuskken, when coupled with it’s image, I believe alludes to another type of “skin”. Maybe my mind is in the gutter but you be the judge.

It’s the first time I’ve looked at the rattata image closely but it look like rattata has gnawed away at the branch it’s standing on, revealing the inner section.

I always thought it was some type of nut beneath or at rattatas feet.

Thanks for ruining Combusken for me.

Well I dunno about y’all but it seems to me like a lot of the Pokemon in the Tag Team cards are DTF.

That’s some serious imagination and wishful thinking. XD

I love the Templeton comparison. Also, I’ve never looked at a Rattata so closely until now. I love that his teeth have a sparkle to emphasize their apparent power—he really gave that vine the business!!

“Combusken” is a combination of the words “combustion” and “chicken,” hence the name.

But yeah. A lot of people have mentioned Combusken’s strange shape before.
