Hey so i am looking to collect one of each original Japense game, this is purley for my benefit and no other. I just want them all in my possession. I would like to collect one of each game in mint condition to have on display as i love the Pokemon games. But i was wondering how can i tell them from fakes to real? For the GameBoy Advanced ones it’s fairly easy and there are multiple web pages on them, including the DS versions ofc.
But for the GBC (Original Original Games) there is nothing. (That i can find) Was wondering if anyone on here knew about them? I would really love to get my hands on them! But would hate to buy fake ones ofc. I want the real genuine versions! Released all the way back in 1996.

To tell the difference… i guess buy from high feedback sellers, don’t buy the reproduction cases you see online.
Don’t buy from hong kong or chinese sellers, or italian, middle east, and alot of european and western sellers, as that is where the fakes are usually from with regards to japanese games.
Buy from Japan, as fakes were not allowed to be sold and distributed here.
box colour is important, the proportions of the design of the pokemon on the box, and the backs of the cartridges screws is important as well, it should have the special diamond star screws only. Also be careful of the wording on the backs of the cartridges, it should only contain made in japan.
and be careful of the sticker placement of the games…
and be careful of the interior chips as well, these have been known to be reproduced mainly for snes or whatever, but good to know if the interior green chip is very very small, it sometimes can be a fake, it should have a specific serial number which matches it’s production.

i have all the games ready to go cib with original manuals, maps, etc in good condition… but my price is a little higher as i only source real and good condition stock, and have completed the sets for people.
