PCA Grade Graded Pokemon Cards

This actually seems more like an exit scam.

This is sketchy stuff

Hey, i would like to share my experiences with Pca

Regarding the lack of communication, i believe they were just overwhelmed the demand. I received a Mail couple of weeks ago where they clarified the current state of the huge demand and intentions to increase staff and relocate to a bigger headquarter.

Submission: Easy to put in the cards in the database and a smooth checkout. Neverless, some cards are still missing in the database which prevents me to grade specific cards. They stated they are continuously adding new cards, so let’s see how that turns out.

Turnaround Times: I sent them in at the beginning of february and received them back end of June. Definetly not the 20 Business Days they advertised, but at least they have updated their turnaround times now according to the demand to 45 Days.(I’m not expecting that to reach either)

Customer Service: It was horrible during the March/April peak, where i waited between 1 or 2 weeks for a response, which significally changed in the last couple of weeks. I receive now a reply almost on the exact day.

Slabs / Labeling: Im quite amazed how beautiful the cards look in those slabs. Generally they use sleeker slabs, which makes the foil look shinier from my perspective.

Also, the Labeling personally looks cleaner for me, as the text is more appealing, unlike psa in some cases where they hit you with a wall of initials.

Grading: Pretty harsh and strict, similar to BGS. Many cards i sent in for testing, which i expected to become a 10, got a 9 grading. From my past experience with PSA, i always expected very small whitenings to pass the test for a 10, which doesn’t seem to be like with pca.

Overall Summary:

Im quite satisfied with their grading services and im happy that there is finally a quality grading company in Europe.
The appealing look of the slabs makes me forget the lack of customer service and i will start to submit some middle tier cards for my collection.

I hope they ramp up their staff to an extend which can please the demand, to guarantee good customer service and professionality in the future.

Hey guys, sorry to bring back an inactive thread.

I sent some cards off to PCA in February (through a variety of issues they weren’t received until the start of April). My cards have been stuck in ‘conditioning 2’ since mid-late April.

The last contact I had from them was back in June where I was told that my cards were graded and waiting to be sealed. That was over two months ago and since then it’s been complete radio silence on all fronts (email, Facebook, Instagram).

I’m getting quite concerned (especially since there were some lost cards back in April) - has anybody had any contact from them lately? Two months waiting to be sealed seems a bit crazy. Not really sure what can even be done if they won’t answer any form of communication…

Radio silence for me as well. I even contacted them saying I would be in Paris end of July to pick up my cards in person and they said to message closer to the date. Messaged and then no reply back. If you check their instagram they have started limiting their comments because a few posts back there were quite a few people complaining about the lack of communication and worried their cards had not been returned to them yet. As far as I’m aware they haven’t been responding to anyone from the people with submissions I have spoken to. Also they might be doing something regarding improving their shipping to avoid any more mistakes as they had an incident in which they lost, I repeat LOST, a few days worth of submissions…
