Oops, I did it again

Thanks for sharing! I’m going to try and find some of these stores today. I’m looking for masaki, fan club, vending, gb promos, coro coro promos, jumbo vintage stuff (all japanese exclusive, perfectly okay if condition isn’t great).

Do you happen to have the names of the stores that accompany any of the photos? Any recommendations? I’ll be in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto these next 2 weeks - first time here

Hey, enjoy your trip!

Just a heads-up:
I would recommend not looking for deals and just enjoying the hunt and browsing the stores. Most of the cards you’re looking for will likely be more expensive in stores compared to buying them on eBay or Mercari, especially fan club and Masaki cards. Chase cards tend to command a premium in stores since they’re in high demand. You’ll often find vending cards at Mandarake stores.

Jumbo cards are pretty rare overall, but you might have luck at Magi stores, which carry a lot of high-end and vintage items. I’m guessing you’re looking for vintage CoroCoro promos, right? Shining Mew is fairly common, so if you visit several stores, you should be able to find a few.

In Tokyo, you’ll find a good selection at the stores in Nakano Broadway, and of course, Akihabara is great—check out Hareruya 2 and the Surugayas.

In Osaka, I’d recommend exploring Den Den Town and seeing what the stores have. Most places have similar prices nowadays. Cardolabo probably has a lot of the vintage cards you’re after—just make sure to visit the one on the top floor, not the one downstairs. Dragon Star should also have some of the cards you’re looking for.
