This was the year I was going to submit a membership to PSA mainly for the Bulk and Quarterly Specials (Silver Membership)
Looks like they got rid of Pokemon Specials this year. So does this mean only the bulk option is available unless i go with a Gold or Platinum Membership and get the free submissions?
Has PSA ever changed their Lineup through the year depending on demand? Considering the Pokemon influx, I honestly can’t believe there isn’t 1 Special posted for the year unless Im missing something.
With how many Pokemon cards are getting routed through there why would they have to offer a special or discount? It’s not like they are hurting for business or submissions
Never said they HAVE to. Just couldn’t believe they left it out considering last year.
The reason i asked the second part of my post is…
With 2019 having a huge influx (Detective Pikachu/Multiple Charizards) a lot more people have jumped on the wagon…
Based on trends…2020 might not see the same impact that 2019 had.
I was wondering if they saw maybe half way through the year Pokemon PSA submissions drop significantly from 2019…would they change the lineup through the year.
Also, I usually used beckett for grading so even though im not a new collector…i am new to grading through PSA.
Does the lineup for quarterly specials display on their website? Or do they only show the (Multiple) “Active” specials that are available *this* quarter.
The lineup on their website isn’t showing the mapping of what’s going to be the specials throughout the year.
I was seeing the quarterly specials thinking it was mapped. #1 January through March/ #2 March through May -so on and so forth- but Im assuming with your post that this isnt the case.
No problem. I think they might announce the next set of quarterly specials in an email a week or so prior to the next quarter. If there’s anything Pokemon related, usually @garyis2000 posts it in the THE Great Grading Results Thread and updates the title accordingly.
