I’m looking for someone to purchase the card that lives in Denmark and can then ship to me in the UK.

Sorry, just a question because you are based in UK. Are they open to shipping anywhere else in EU? Or very strict on just Denmark.

You were right though about UK being not in the EU being the issue - the sellers merchant account wouldn’t accept anything outside of the EU, so that would have worked!
I managed to work something out with the seller thankfully!
