What more is there to understand than that Nish loves Buzzwole lol. I didn’t care for it before but Nish’s enthusiasm for Buzzwole has helped me understand the appeal and honestly, I’m on board. I mean, look at him! He’s a giant SWOLE mosquito that exudes confidence like no other. The artists understand it too, not a single bad artwork in the handful of cards it has.

Hell yeah brother! Buzzwole is actually great if you don’t take Pokemon too seriously. He’s so over the top and ridiculous you’d have to be a real scrooge to not love the 'wole. Even in the anime he’s so brokenly strong, how many pokemon do you know in the show that can easily blitz pikachu mid quick attack!!!

I like the colors on the shiny buzzwole. I don’t know if it has been featured in the anime (edit: question answered lol), but it also seems to be quite popular with the kids. I had mothers ask me specifically for a buzzwole card for their kid.

Small update, but I’m very happy 
Finished my base set 2, this was my premier childhood set. It’s what I had the most of as a kid and it’s what I enjoy the most too, so a lot of the cards here have been mine since they were pack fresh
(also don’t say anything about Lass ok I know I’m a dumbass and ordered base instead of base 2 but it’s the same card and the correct base 2 will show up this week shut up)

Base Set 2 gets a lot of flack for being the bastardized step-child of Base Set. Say what you will, I think the cosmo holos on them, however, have the original set beat and speak for themselves. Congrats on getting your premier set completed!

I really don’t like the sets before gym challenge/heroes but base set 2 is the exception with that cosmos foil. I personally think that original foil just looked… nastyyy with the original art

I’m also trying a new formatting, these cards are in a 9 pocket binder (actually the same binder as the base 2 set literally just after them lmao), so this is how they appear per row in my binder. I just set the page of the binder on the scanner and hoped for the best and at the very least I think they’re about a million times better than my phones pics lmfao

I only went for official releases, errors are an infinite rabbit hole that I’m pretty meh on… Plus theyre listed for like $200+ on ebay and thats absurd

note: this slab is pretty rough, but the card is mint. All of the scratches and scuffs are completely on the slab

Finished a complete set of Japanese promo balls! What counts as a promo ball you might ask? For the purposes of this collection, it was anything with ball in the name and a P numbering or the promo star… I know the gift set MB doesn’t have a promo numbering but I was talked into it by the discord
