Iām going to be talking to one of the head graders tomorrow. Iāll bring the label alignment thing up to them and see what they say.

Cgc are the cheapest graders and expecting them to be higher quality than the most expensive ones is crazy. The entire budget was spent on gold sparkles for the pristine 10.

Iām scrolling down eBay searching PokĆ©mon CGC 10 gem mint and Iām not really seeing any alignment issues with the labels. There is some degree of difference inherently because the font size changes depending on the amount of text.
No clue what the deal was with that Raichu but someone earlier in the thread mentioned they spoke to someone who said they hadnāt nailed down the alignment stuff when they did the initial rollout but it had been corrected since.
Your tune sure changed quickā¦ in all fairness lower price isnāt indicative of quality in grading. CGC could never charge PSA price no matter the quality. Itās really just status & establishment that dictate pricing.
Itās always been my tune. People on here have thought Iām all cgc because I mention them.
Cgc = cowboy grading company.

They pulled a Lugia but it was off center and had a bad line straight in the middle
Actually I bought a BGS unikarp off someone who graded with BGS for that exact reason. They didnāt wanna pay 1-2k in upcharges with PSA.

BGS calculates return shipping insurance off value. Itās not marked up as high as PSA though.

People are saying the 1st edition box break isnāt happening. Probably a combination of too many people wanting to keep sealed and the drama around that slipped pack or whatever happened the other day.
How is this thread still going? When was the last message that has anything to do with the title?

I mean two comments before Jacās was literally a comment talking about pricing with CGC lol. And the one after was me giving an update on the CGC sponsored box break.
Hang on a minute Iām not 2x the second poster here. I think the title means the price of grading a new slab not everything to do with price lol.

Honestly this was long overdue. As mentioned in another thread, here is the mega thread for grading. Also people are free to make a new specific topic whenever they want but those new topics arenāt going to just turn into mega threads. We already have those and can either redirect people there or just move off topic posts in the future!
