Need help with Damaged PSA Cards

@nuttun well said! The people who make those statements are saying more about themselves. New members bring fresh eyes to the hobby! Also, the irony is the Veterans don’t always agree. We just aren’t toxic assholes to each other and can have a strong disagreement and still respect one another afterwards.

@kaminoikari Message PSA and show them the damage. As Gary stated, which was totally incorrectly interpreted, they will advise on how to proceed and everything should be rectified.

@mulder hey Kanagawacards, glad you decided to return.

Goddamnit
Tried contacting PSA via e-mail but says it will be delayed because of a show. Tried contacting through phone and it always mentions “you have made an invalid selection”.
LIKE COME ON, YOU’RE CLEARLY OPEN WHY CANT I REACH YOU GUYS.

*sigh* by this rate my 48 hour insurance will be up
what should I do…

It says their hours of operations is from 7:00 AM

Like most things in life the 48 hours are negotiable and based on your ability to contact them I’m sure. You are a paying customer and they want your business, so when you finally get a hold of them they will give you the time of day.

@kaminoikari don’t sweat the 48 hours too much especially if you’ve already sent an e-mail which is automatically timestamped detailing the problem within that 48 hour window. It won’t likely be a quick turnaround but they’ll take care of it including shipping both ways though you may have to go out of pocket on it and then be reimbursed later.

At this point I’ve given up contacting PSA by both phone and E-mail…

Its been a week and a half and haven’t received a singe reply back… So what to do now?
Any ideas on what do do with the damaged cases?

  • get them re-slabbed through the submission page?

Don’t give up mate! Are you calling them from the US or outside the US?

PSA are very tolerant of international members and will understand. They will cover all four cards, it will require a little more patience though.

Get back to us ASAP so we can give you guidance before they open on Monday morning (around 23 hours from now).

Ditto is forgetting another reason: not giving a fuck. You have to actually care to argue with someone about something. Ive seen people disagree with Gary or Smpratte or other vets numerous times. But over something like this? What are you expecting? You (mulder) got your panties in a bunch over Gary providing pretty accurate input of how to deal with this scenerio (what OP asked for). Then you called everyone assholes and mouth breathers for not sjw’ing Gary’s phrasing. FOOH.

At least you have a time stamped email with a notation of them having a delay in responding due to a show. That can only help when it comes to insurance grace period.

Stick to your lego Erik

Well, I’ve also received damaged PSA cards but I didn’t bother with contacting them due to the fact it was a low value card anyway with a poor grade.

So I finally received an e-mail this morning stating that they recognize that the two cards are mislabeled and are willing to vouch for them.
As for the damaged cards, they will vouch for them as well but due to PSA regulations they will be regraded (well… *sigh*)
The thing is… I’m in the middle of moving and just sent my cards off and probably won’t see them for another two months (I sent them because I never thought I would hear back from PSA).

What to do…
