Hey thank you!! And no i prob never branch out from this art vulpixs. Because if i plan i getting a psa 10 verison of each then it will take me forever. Sounds fun actually. And also just completion of the last grail card i need (korean unlimites vulpix) may take awhile if not just be impossible to get. I pretty much started this message board deal cause its my best shot of finding one. Thanks for asking yo

Oh howd id love a BGS black label 1st ed Vulpix. One day. Just you wait. CGC 1st ed Vulpix would be amazing too. Only seen cgc 10 vulpixs in japanese and Pristine not Perfect.

Yeah, grail cards are frustrating to get. Even when they appear, they might be in terrible condition. So, I understand that while your close to your goal, that grail will be difficult to get and keep your goal open for some time. Good luck on finding it though!

I just realised this artwork is different from almost all others. It has white filling between the back, tail and ears. Clearly a mistake when pasting the stock artwork onto the background. I love it! The sticker seems to be the only other artwork with the same mistake.

Never noticed that before either. I do know about a few other cards with this error, like the Misty’s Seel, but I didn’t knew about the No Rarity Vulpix having this error.

Here’s another fun fact about this artwork: this Vulpix and the vending machine Mew have the same background (first discovered by @muk and shared in this thread), and the EX Holon Phantoms Regice also has it as foreground (discovered by @rattledkarp and shared here):

A lot of the early TCG artwork backgrounds, especially for Ken Sugimori artworks, were taken from those stock images. More info about that in this thread (and originally this Twitter post).

I was just going through my Neo Genesis collection and I noticed that Pichu might be using the same background as well. I did not see it in the original thread (also did not want to bump it) so I thought I would share it here
