Most Expensive 2003-2007 Ex, Charizard? Milotic, Grail.

I believe the version in the pack is the non-holo variant, and the holo version is only available through a tin or promo package much like the Mew holo from POP 5.

I know; I was saying that even the non-holo one would be tough to grade because of how flimsy the packs are. All of the POP Series holos were only available in tins/blisters, AFAIK.

I would consider buying a PSA 10 Milotic EX at 8k because I never see them for sale and I’m not even close to a big baller like some of the guys who still need that. I think it would have sold for double that easy in an open auction where people saw it. It took me months to find a clean one, and CGC will still probably give it an 8 lmao

Agreed

Another one to add here is Celebi ex and ray ex from Deoxys.

Definitely Celebi, but that Rayquaza ex is (was?) pretty cheap. Maybe that’s changed, though. Now that I’m thinking about it, pretty much all of the TRR exs besides Hitmonchan could be on this list. There are also some other close ones like both Dragonite exs, Arcanine ex, the DF Rayquaza ex, Jolteon ex etc.

Yeah the ray ex from Deoxys will be by far the most expensive long term (of all the ray ex). It’s pop 20 and in the most expensive ex set. For some strange reason, it only went for 1.8k or something in the last auction I saw of it. There has been a private sale for ~3k usd following that.

After Milotic and Charizard i find Suicune from Team Magma VS Aqua to be one of the most gorgeous cards of the exs, but price may not reflect that yet.

I’d put celebi and suicune on the same level.

Along the same lines this sold for 7500 last year I wonder what a 10 would be worth now?

why did that go for $7500? what’s so rare.

Very glad to see one of the rarest and most beautiful EXs to jump in price.

To be honest, I don’t worry about ex PSA 9/10 pops double in the next year at all. Sometimes, being too low pop will hinder a category to become mainstream, because in that case, very few collectors can own and enjoy them.

PSA 10 pops are barely moving at all. Many exs haven’t even had a single 10 added this year. PSA 9 pops are going up somewhat, but I doubt they will be double a year from now. I honestly think that whatever the PSA 9/10 pops are a year from now are going to hold. No one’s opening sealed product and people who have mint exs have already submitted them to PSA. Finding mint raw exs is impossible, too. The PSA 10 pops might increase slightly over the next year as PSA works through their backlog, but after that the pop will be stagnant, IMO.

Apparently most of these blisters in 1st edition were destroyed in a building fire and very few have survived.

Here is the auction of last year @shizzlemetimbers was referring to: ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/auction/item/itemInfoEn.html?index=609181

Ex series is full of hidden gems, for the past few years I thought I was crazy since no one seemed to enjoy these cards like I do. Nice to see it gaining in popularity and price, I think it is 110% deserves and overdue.

I’m still waiting for people to realize how awesome and rare ex era promos are.

Didn’t take too long for that person to cave lol

Wondering if how things go with psa (long sent and returning + extra fees after grading) it keeps people away from submitting cards to psa. Also if their was a psa grading center in europe it would make a difference.
