@garyis2000, simple supply and demand. Mike Boozer is such an iconic name in pokemon history, and some would even say that he is single-handedly responsible for the price increase of all tcg products over the last 10 years. also, iām just messing with you, there is no reason why PSA should have authenticated him in the first place.
Hmmā¦ Although heās indeed iconic, I think that last part of the sentence is quite exaggerated. There are loads of iconic people in the hobby, and itās pretty ironic you say this to Gary who is one of those iconic persons himself. 
That reminds me, @smpratte and @garyis2000 , can I have some Pikachu cards with your signatures? 
PS: I have a card with Mike Boozerās signature, as well as six other signatures on the same (Jumbo) card, but Iām not willing to sell it, sorry. Not even for 1500 USD (even though I bought it for 55 USD myself). The signatures on it are: illustrator Mitsuhiro Arita (2x; both his English and Japanese signature); Yukinori Torri of the PokĆ©mon Card Laboratory; Richard āBig Daddy Snorlaxā Walkoski, a top level TCG tournament organizer and judge; āDark Master Trainerā Mike Boozer, WotC representative and also pretty well-known for spreading the rumors about the pre-release Raichu; āMaster Trainerā Mike Gills, manager of organized play; āDark Masterā Steven Kam, manager of marketing dept for WotC.

@quuador , Itās more protest to the fact that PSA authenticated Mike Boozer before Junichi Masuda, Dr. Sameji, and many other real Pokemon figures. Although they do authenticate these individuals now, there are still many others that they do not recognize. I donāt think that that Mike is more recognizable or iconic than either Gary or smpratte, which is exactly my point.
(to my knowledge, for a signature to be authenticated, there has to be sufficient demand and enough legitimate examples of the autograph. i donāt know who satisfied these requirements for Mike.)

Iād see if you can negotiate a bit with this guy about Emerald. Iāve followed sealed emeralds for about 6 months now and dont think you can even get a raw sealed one for less than $1k
