Any minor shuffle creasing from the top, side, or bottom of the card. Shuffle creasing that moves more than 15% top-to-bottom or 20% left-to-right reduces the card grade to Heavily Played.
Played cards can have multiple issues listed above. The more unique issues a Played card has, the more likely it is to be graded Heavily Played instead.
Played (PL)
A Played card looks as bad as you can get a card through regular use without sleeves.
A Played card looks extremely bad, and it is doubtful if the card is tournament legal even in a sleeved deck. However, the card has not been tampered with otherwise (inked border, random scribblings on the card etc.).
The Amercian equivalent usually is Heavily Played or Good.
Moderately Played (MP)
Moderately Played condition cards have moderate wear, or flaws apparent to the naked eye. Moderately Played condition cards can show moderate border wear, mild corner wear, water damage, scratches , creases or fading, light dirt buildup, or any combination of these defects.
