Reading something I wrote in 2008 makes me feel old lol… I was only 16 years old back then
There were many Umbreons selling back then for below $400… it always takes years for prices to develop in a hobby.
Btw, around that time there were some lucky people buying trophy pikachus for $1000
I’m not sure if he’s done a video yet, but I’m pretty sure he hasn’t as I’ve now seen most if not all of his videos, but I really think smpratte should do a video on the players promo and ppp fan club cards.
Yeah it’ll fit in nicely with your other videos I think, And there seems to be a lot of interest for them within the community, on my Instagram a few people ask me questions about the players cards when I post on my story, and I see a lot of people posting pictures of their purchases, will look forward to watching it if you decide to make one.
I’d also be very interested in the Japanese daisuki club cards!
Just an update on where I’m at personally, so you can see what they all look like together in one place if you’ve decided to chase the cards. As you can see they’re gorgeous when put together like this, it’s been a pleasure collecting this set, I still have two cards that I can personally afford which is the master ball battle road, and the fan club card ( with the children on the front ) both are quite rare on eBay currently, so keep your eyes out for them cards as well as the gold star cards first, as for the espeon and umbreon they will be out of my price range of what I’m willing to pay, let me know if your still looking to collect the players promos, and I will keep an eye out on deals for you x
What I like about the set is the collections within it. Soon I will be looking into the Rayquaza to complete the 3 (Kyogre, Groudon)
After that I don’t know what I am chasing in it.
Like to thank Scott (did not know that was his name) for his video on the history of these cards. Was very informational
