I would need it to be Pikachu. How are they packaged? The last McD promotion here I was able to slide the cards down enough to see the set number, allowing me to guarantee the pikachu. Had to go to a second store and explain why I was looking for just the pikachu to them but they let me have a try looking through the cards while watching over me to see that I wasn’t damaging or stealing anything.
US McDo still needs to get the set that was released in the Netherlands/Belgium, but I guess they won’t get it since it would be weird to put non-SM cards in happy meals now.
Got you one @justinator ^^ It has a small dent beside the HP but it’s otherwise fine as far as I can tell. I don’t think getting these mint will be easy.
Good luck have fun to anyone who’s planning to collect mint set ( or even PSA 10 set ), distribution method slightly sucks but what can you really do about it?
I am searching for some of these to complete my set. I need these toys - grubbin, yungoose, pikipek, and rotom dex. Of the cards i need pikachu (bent/flawed ok) and a few others.
actually, the cereal holos are not numbered as their own set either… they’re just alternate holo reprints with the same number as the original promo cards they’re based off of.
Ohhhh interesting, I wasn’t aware of this. I only collect the SM-P Japanese promos not the English SM-P so I never noticed. I know these holos in Japan were available in a 4-card set of Pikachu and friends. Thanks for the info
Try just walking in and asking to buy them, later at night when its not busy. Last release thats what i did and they were fine with it. Unless you know you just cant resist the temptation of that sweet juicy big mac or fillet-o-fish…
@quuador I remember in 2009ish for the Burger King Platinum Promos they would sell me additional ones for a $1. Of course, they told me this after a week of consuming an additional 10,000 calories at Burger King LMAO
