Mail Stuck in Japan

I just received an EMS package that was shipped Apr 10 so things are starting to move

Wow exact same message I’m getting when I ordered items from Australia. I think they call it Australia post in Australia. I guess I’m not the only one. It seems DHL is the only reliable shipping service at the very moment

Funnily enough my most recent EMS package arrived to my country 1 day after being shipped, faster than before covid.

But yeah, I know a lot of other EU countries and North America are heavily effected and it’s been taking 1-2 months for packages to arrive from Japan, and same thing for packages shipped from EU to NA.

Yes to both Japan and Australia. Been Waiting.

My DHL order came from japan in like less than a week. I was surprised. Meanwhile my order from a month before that one is sitting at japanese post still.

Update. Card suddenly shows up in US without every having said left Australia since 22nd of April. Strange times.

Amazing. So it took about 23 business days from the last message date of April 22 to finally arrive in America for you. This give me hope for my package which is at day 11 business day.

Same thing here. I bought from a guy in australia and he sent out two shipments to myself and another guy in the states at the same time but the other guy got his two weeks ago. Not sure how these orders are processed or whatever it is but I’m just glad it’s in the states now and hopefully at my house sooner rather than later. :sob:

Any update for you guys on ems buyee packages from early April?
Mine is still not returned from Japan post.

I bought something at the beggining of May from italy and the tracking went from one facility to the last center before leaving the country. Unfortunately it still hasn’t moved from there lol

so my friend in japan said that Japan Post has updated with more countries not being able to send mail to. EMS packages that were mailed out in late march to early april before they stopped blocking stuff do move from what I can tell but will take longer. DHL and Fedex seems to be the only ones moving fast but at a more higher rate.

as for things being shipped out with this whole pandemic I also feel like it has effected lots of packages. usual packages that take 3-5 days now take probably up to 10 to get to their destination and for international i’m sure its taking longer with things being at half speed than before. also as an added note just be careful to everyone out there with the whole protests and things going on it may even delay stuff longer and there have been videos of people raiding trucks in certain cities.

Alright cool yeah. Just have had the same package sitting in Tokyo still since April 10th with no update to tracking except accepted at post office basically. I thought Buyee could get it back to ship with DHL but nothing’s been done.
