M1nt Cases

My immediate thought. Something about that combo of low fi hiphop and shorts you can’t forward/rewind with big palm trees and even bigger words.

Mint Guy: Isn’t it ridiculous that we keep cards worth thousands in cheap graded case instead awesome magnetic ones.

Also Mint Guy: Proceeds to break the PSA cases and destroy thousands of dollars in value just to put the card in a magnetic case that adds no value.

They should have gone all the way:

Our product is powered by the same phenomena that protects the Earth from cosmic radiation and charged particles from the Sun. Not only that, it can also protect your card from the high-energy cancer-causing ionizing radiation from the Sun. Now you can have all these in an elegant looking case for only $24.99.

They solved the counterfeiting problem but don’t say how, and they can’t spell to save their lives. You’d think someone would proofread so they don’t end up with the captions “electormagnetic” and “absoultely” :skull:

Aside from all the NFTs are the future vibes emanating from this guy, if they truly have an agreement with the grading companies, it would be quite interesting.

He mentions PSA, not sure if it’s exclusive, but if it is, then wouldn’t this be their ‘answer’ to the likes of CGC and BGS reinventing themselves? They won’t change their slab, but hey, if you want it in this display slab, then we’ll recase it for you and it’s still a PSA 10 by virtue of the side label or whatever it is.

Hey guys!.. As I made this video, and just heard about your thread, I thought I’d answer some questions and hopefully clarify some confusion!

I agree, that is why we are partnering with graders… and laser etching the card details and grade on the steel side bezel.

Yeah, nothing regular about this. It’s an entirely different product. Instead of plastics that can be counterfeited and can damage the card, we essentially built a safe cocoon around the card. Full UV Protection, anti counterfeiting tech and more.

what that mean, is that instead of cheap plastic that all the graders use, we are using the highest quality materials. Like high grade stainless steel, titanium, Viton, and sapphire glass. Stuff that you’d want to have protecting a PSA 10 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle. Has anyone ever wondered why those cards are in plastic?

I laughed out loud on this one. great meme. Though, we are’t putting anything inside of anything. Even when the case it secured to the wall display, there is only ever one layer of glass between you and your card. I’m super anti-plastic as I think plastic is damaging to our planet and our materials are all recyclable. Not sure why you have a problem with this part?

Thanks for your nice feedback!.. And no, I’m not describing magnets as electromagnet technology. We are using 2 types of magnets. The passive ones on the one touch type case, and the electromagnets that are in side the wall display. Our internal electromagnetic rig provides 100 pounds of pressure when activated through biometrics. Essentially, your cards are fully secure on the wall as we’ve built the display to act as a vault. Fully protected… and yes, with true electromagnetic tech. it’s pretty sick tech and never been used before with collectibles. can’t wait for you to see it in action!

that’s why we aren’t acting independently. We are providing our cases to established graders so THEY do the encapsulating and provide the grading services. We only provide the raw materials. easy peasy.

I’m not sure I understand this–are you saying that people will submit their cards to be graded, but the cards won’t be encapsulated in standard company-branded graded card holders, instead in your cases? And the grade details will be etched onto the case?

Are you able to disclose which companies you’ve partnered with?

I like the look of the cases. So this is going to be like an official option or upgrade from psa etc?

So i could send them a card and ask for it to be put in one of these instead of the plastic slab and it still be authentic graded and guaranteed by psa?

that’s exactly what I’m saying. I have been working on this for over 2 years and know the leadership at all the key graders quite well. I can’t share until our joint press releases coming in the coming months, but we are supported by the grading companies. they love what we’ve built as it solves a problem they’ve been having. we’ll share more in the coming months when we do our major launch. this was a soft launch to get market feedback before we go into full production.

are you tired of having 10 million dollar cards sitting inside cheap plastic without UV protection and that plastics are chemically active with cardboard so they deteriorate over time? we transfer the grades WITH the graders. in fact, their the ones who do it.

how is creating a protective case for expensive cards, unnecessary? Counterfeit proof, UV Protection, and the glass and Viton we are using are chemically inert against cardboard. the same can not be said about plastics. These are meant for high value cards.

If you’re going to suggest that a company’s product is producing chemicals that would deteriorate the encapsulated graded cards, you better provide some evidence. Otherwise, that is hot trash and defamatory. And certainly not something that these companies would like to see coming from a new business partner?
