Lugia rookie only 2nd to Charizard

Did you but it? Seems to have sold.

I’ve always tried to convince myself to love Lugia but I just can’t. Collected all the cards and they just ended up leaving the collection because I don’t think the artworks are that great to be honest. I prefer Ho-Oh between the two big birds and think the Neo Ho-Oh art is far better than the Lugia. I’m gonna be honest, I actually don’t like the Lugia rookie artwork much at all. But we all have our preferences and that’s what makes Pokemon so great to collect. I’m just not a collector that gets persuaded to collect the “they are notorious for print lines” cards just because they are harder to grade.

If we are considering most popular card…

1st gen Charizard
2nd gen Lugia/Celebi?/Umbreon?
3rd gen Rayquaza
4th gen Lucario?
5th gen Zoroark?
6th gen Greninja?
7th gen Mimikyu?
8th gen Zacian

You definitely have a valid point . For me Ho-oh just looks like a giant colorful chicken or rooster. Not that I have thing against roosters or chickens but between that and Lugia i pick lugia every day. Although I must admit the shining legends artwork and skyridge of Ho-oh is fantastic. Especially shining legends with the sun and the shining combo, it’s brilliant.
