Looking for Info: Bulbasaur Detective Pikachu & 151 Costco in languages other than English and French?

Hi,

I’m looking for information on the languages available for the Bulbasaur Detective Pikachu Promo Movie Stamp and the Bulbasaur 151 Costco Exclusive Promo cards for my Bulbasaur TCG Database - Every Bulbasaur card, all in one place.

I have found these in English and French, but I would like to know if they were available in other languages, like German, Italian and Portuguese.

I never saw them in Spanish, but it wouldn’t be the first time they released a card in a Western language that doesn’t include Spanish (like the Jumbo Bulbasaur from the First Partner Packs).

The SM198 Bulbasaur with stamp was indeed only printed in English and French. It came in the same ‘Detective Pikachu on the Case Collection’ box as the SM170 Detective Pikachu promo with stamp.
(The SM170 Pikachu without stamp is also printed in English, Japanese, and Korean; which I assume also applies to the Bulbasaur without stamp.)

As for the 151 Cosmos RH Bulbasaur, I think (not entirely sure) it’s indeed only printed in English and French as well, since it’s a Costco exclusive, which is a store that isn’t anywhere in Europe a.f.a.i.k. (EDIT: Apparently there are 29 Costco stores in the UK; 5 in Spain; 2 in France; and 1 in Sweden. :person_shrugging: ) So the French ones were released in parts of Canada, and the English ones in the US and other parts of Canada.
But I stopped collecting Pikachu cards in all languages after February 27th, 2021 (25th Pokémon Day), and also wasn’t even aware that Costco card was released in French in the first place before your question. I’ve just asked in a Pikachu Discord I’m active in, just in case. I’ll keep you posted on the answer. But it would surprise me if the Cosmos RH was released in other languages.

I hate it when they do these supermarket promos. I also hate finding out that there is again another Bulbasaur promo stuck behind a big supermarket chain.

This comes with the Pikachu, Charmander, and also Squirtle with 4 151 packs correct?

Yes, It was included with the 151 Mini Tin 5-Pack sold exclusively by Costco.

Thanks for the detailed answer.

I was thinking the same thing, but I started to doubt it when I saw that there are Costco’s in some parts of Europe.

With this, I think I can close the identification of Bulbasaur cards in Western languages for now. Thanks again.

Apparently, they’ve now got to search for their own French 025/165 Cosmos RH Pikachu. :sweat_smile: So thanks for the info.

I’ve also searched around a bit for the other three Cosmos Pikachu (Shining Legends; Sword & Shield; Paldean Fates), but it seems those are only available in English and not in French. Weird that it’s just the one from the 151 set that was released in both languages.

Wow, had no idea the 151 Mini Tin 5-Pack came in French too, looks like I’ve got another Charmander to find!
