from discord, not my ebay
The card list for Series Five has been released: https://www.pokemon.com/static-assets/content-assets/cms2/pdf/trading-card-game/checklist/prize_pack_series_5_web_cardlist_en.pdf
Yay Pokémon finally releasing the set list before we all have to make our own.
Nothing for me on this list
No CRZ Ultra Ball this time, so the “non-holo” that apparently existed in Prize Pack 4 will never exist
I had to make a “doesn’t exist” color field in my own spreadsheet tracking just to keep the list tracking official lists still, but note the screwup lol
Well time to be confused as it not on the list… thank god
Has Series 5, unlike the previous 4, also been printed in Portuguese? Does anyone know?
Someone should really answer this,! 3 years lurking and this question bring them back! Gotta be important!
@kingmidas1993 You can now use Questions? to get a better response.
Welcome back!
To my knowledge no
Dang, good catch!
Thanks, I made a note of that above! They’ve done a good job of making official lists, but unfortunately they’ve had errors each time
Are the holo energies from Series 5 different to those from Series 4?
From pics I’ve seen they look the same, which would be odd since 1, 2, 3 and 4 were all different to each other.
Same energies as series 4. I think the other ones were all different since something had always changed with either the energy style or the holo pattern. I expect series 6 will have the new stellar pattern for the energies, which will make new holo and non-holo ones.
Just to ask here, are there any inherent differences in the reprints of prize pack cards between series, or are the completely identical?
That’s so gross
Yes the holo changes on them
The only differences between the cards between some series are between seeies 2 and 3 where the holo versions have different patterns. This was when they switched the holo pattern from vertical line holos to galaxy holo.
The only holo cards that were in both sets were from brilliant stars, as series two went up to brilliant stars and series 3 started at brilliant stars.
This means that there were 3 versions of each of theses cards (the versions being non-holo, series 2 holo, and series 3 holo):
- Manaphy
- Bibarel
- Boss’s Orders
- Magma Basin
- Double turbo energy
- All 8 basic energy
There don’t seem to be any other differences between sets in terms of reprints. The non-holos, holos, and ultra rares all look to be the exact same, and you can’t tell which pack they would have come from if they were included in multiple series.
