Hi, I recently bought this off stockx and even though they verified it. It still looks suspicious to me. The front of the box doesn’t have seal (it’s on the side) like other japanese booster boxes and the right side seal seam isn’t smooth. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks
Looks fine to me, but impossible to know for certain without opening it up.
I’m no expert on Japanese boxes and never opened tag team, but I do have experience in the packaging industry and with shrink wrappers.
There really isn’t any official “look” to a shrink wrap seal and I don’t think Pokemon sets a standard for their end of line packaging workers.
The machines used for that can produce inconsistent seals for numerous reasons ranging from operator habits to film material quality, to how clean the heat wire that cuts the film is. The resealers use the same tools.
