So, here’s a question, since I found myself asking “Why” on a lot of them:
What SHOULD a legendary have? If you were to define it, what’s the most legendary legendary? (mythics are right out!)

this is an overall really good list
Seeing the Djinns automatically being placed in almost everyone’s lowest tier is breaking my heart a little
I’m still the only one who recognizes Thundurus (edit: it was early and I meant Therian) for what it is: near absolute perfection
So, from a pure appeal standpoint, I am not too fond of them. They’re not BAD, just nothing special. But they shouldn’t be banished to the cave of wonders for that, because from a thematic point, they’re great! They are unique, inspired mons, that jive really well, especially in the new region (planning? IDThink so…) but WGAF?! They’re a really fun concept. I kinda want to put them higher now that I think of it.

Tornadus Incarnate was the sole reason I bought Black over White. Epic design and the first ever pure Flying type.
muh arceus, muh arcanine, muh smeargle, mah alakazam having the mewtwo genetics
Okay I just saw Arceus.
Call me a fake fan, but I couldn’t name most of the pokemon I didn’t include. I’ve only played Red, Emerald, Platinum, and Sword & Shield all the way through and couldn’t care less about most of the new legendary pokemon.
The others didn’t even deserve a mention
pretty obvious where my bias is, but even then almost everything after gen 5 feels so uninspired to me. one of these is going to be pretty controversal lol
There are way too many of the things at this point.
